Manuscript Formatting

      1. Use a single, clear font, 12 point size. The best to use is Times New Roman. 
      2. Headings of each paragraph should be bold 12 size of the font. 
      3. Use clear black text on a white background.
      4. Put your name, story title and the page number as a right-justified header on every subsequent page, in the format Name/Title/Page Number. Generally, you can also just use a keyword from your title and not repeat the whole thing on each page.
      5. Left-justify your paragraphs. 
      6. Ensure there is at least a 1 inch (2 centimetre) margin all the way around your text. This is to allow annotation to be written.
      7. Use 1.5  spacing for all your text.
      8. Don’t insert extra lines between your paragraphs.
      9. Indent the first line of each paragraph by about 1/2 inch (1 centimeter).
      10. Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods,  Results, Discussion  etc. should start from at the top of a new page
      11. Use bold or italic fonts  for bacterial names, species, plant names, animal kingdoms etc  
      12. Tables and Figures should have separate files of the word with legends written under them.
